Precision Tag & Label receives files on Floppy disk, CD, DVD, or uploaded to us: upload@processprinters.com

For files larger than 3 mb, please either send on cd, dvd, or upload to our ftp site ftp://processprinters.com. Using ftp software, log on as anonymous. No password is required to upload files to our ftp site. Please call or email to alert us that you have uploaded a file so we may download it and then delete it as quickly as possible. This is a public ftp directory.  We archive files for 3 years, then we purge them.

We can receive flat art. When receiving flat art, we have to send it out to a vendor to have negatives made, as Precision no longer maintains camera facilities in house. This can cause a delay of a couple days in delivery of your labels.

Please create your software using one of the applications listed above. If this is not possible, please call us to verify we can use the file you'd like to send. Do not use a word processing program to create art work. This applies even if your art consists of type only.

Send all fonts. If using type one fonts, remember to send the Printer and Screen fonts. You can also convert all the type in your document to outlines. This eliminates the need to send the fonts.

Send all embedded or linked files, being eps, jpeg, tiffs, etc. This enables us to better trap them against the balance of your artwork.

Compress all files and fonts before emailing or uploading. Compressing helps to maintain the integrity of the file through the internet.

Always mail or fax hard copies of your artwork. This enables us to check for text reflow.
